Such is the stuff of fairy tales, I’m told;
In once-upon-a-time land all goes well
When comes the prince before the spell grows cold.
My heart had slept until you came, sweet prince,
Though I’m no princess, but a frog, I fear.
Still, your arrival slowly broke the spell
And woke the sleeping princess with a tear;
A gentle voice, a noble heart, and since
The King arranged it, music ringing, too;
A kindred mind, love for lost souls as well—
This prince is stuff of fairy tales come true.
